CTtransit is committed to protecting your privacy. Its entire operations, including this website, are subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
This website does not automatically gather personal information about you. We will collect this type of information only if you voluntarily provide it through your use of the website to obtain CTtransit services.
If you provide CTtransit with your personal information, it will only be used or disclosed for the purposes for which it was collected or, in limited circumstances, in accordance with The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
If you do not wish to provide personal information online, or if you prefer to obtain services by other means (e.g., in person or by telephone), please contact us directly.
CTtransit may monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload, delete or change information, or otherwise cause damage. We record the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted our websites, the date and time of the visit, and the pages visited. CTtransit will not attempt to link these addresses to the identities of individuals visiting its site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected or we are legally obligated to do so.
Information collected is maintained in a secure environment. Access to the gathered data is limited to CTtransit personnel who require it to perform their job-related duties.
The CTtransit website may distribute a small file to your browser, called a “cookie.” Such files allow the organization to provide you with personalized information for your future visits to its websites; the cookies are not used for any other purpose.
