A long-term detour, for outbound route 37 - New Britain Avenue via Jefferson Street service, is in effect due to construction/closure on Washington Street between Lincoln Street and Allen Place. The outbound 37 bus route will travel from Washington Street to Madison Street, turn left Broad Street and left on Vernon, before returning to the regular route on Washington Street.
